booking

To book a place in a class you can pay by paypal, cheque (or cash, if in person). This payment keeps your place for you and is non refundable. Should you be unable to attend you are welcome to join  a different class during the term you’ve paid for.

The Yoga reserves the right to refuse admission to the class.
Respectful behaviour to others in the class is required.
Bookings are made subject to the right to alter the program or teaching staff as a result of circumstances beyond its control.
The use of cameras and recording equipment and mobile phones is strictly forbidden. Class fees book your place, and are non-refundable.

You may exchange your booking for any other The Yoga class, course, workshop or event during the term of booking, subject to availability. All exchanges must be requested via email or in person, and must be made to the original purchaser of the booking.

cancellation

Please ensure I have your up to date email, and join me on facebook and twitter to receive updates. In certain circumstances, your yoga class may, regrettably, have to be cancelled. This will only happen when all other avenues have been ruled out. Should this happen, I will let you know as soon as possible via email, twiiter (theyogauk) and facebook (theyoga). Please ensure I have your up to date email.

…due to bad weather or the like

When the schools are closed, yoga classes will be automatically rearranged. Yoga is great for increasing health and wellbeing… but not if it involves a dangerous journey to get there. The class will be delivered by webinar at the regular time. All you need is a computer with internet connection and an up-to-date flash player (software will download this usually). I will email you an invite and password. Otherwise we will have a yoga class by skype conference call. I will also offer parts of the class online so you can play it again or take the class at a different time. If these options don’t suit you are welcome to join any other class during the term.

…for any other reasons

In the unexpected event of illness etc, I will arrange a substitute teacher, or provide a dvd class at the regular time/place. If this is not possible, the class will be rearranged, or you will be welcome to join any other class during the term. If this is not possible for you please contact me to arrange credit.

Concession & lower income prices

Available to those in need. Please let me know you would like a reduced rate if you feel you cannot meet the costs of classes but would still like to attend.

Security of Information

Personal information collected by The Yoga and our website is stored in secure operating environments that are not available to the public. The Yoga will secure your personal information no matter where we process or store your data.

privacy policy

This is to confirm that The Yoga takes the security and privacy of our customers seriously. We endeavour to conform with the UK and European Data Protection laws. We do not share any information with third parties nor do we collect or retain any information other than that necessary for us to provide our services to you. Information collected during the application process, will be stored securely. Information collected will be securely destroyed if it is no longer required by The Yoga.

From time to time it may be necessary to revise this policy. should this occur the amendment would be posted on our website.
