Susannah’s interest in yoga developed at art college in the 1980s, she has been drawing and practising ever since. She holds a BA Hons and an M/Des in Graphic Design, and started training as a yoga teacher in 2003. Had it not been for pregnancy and breastfeeding she would have trained earlier. Her fascination with both yoga and design led her to build up a stack of illustrations which are featured throughout the book – the inspiration was to make a book that was so enjoyable to use that reading it would feel like doing yoga.
This book is written in association with YogaBirth. This is the association of professionally trained teachers of pregnancy yoga, childbirth education and leading experts in the field. Their unique formula has been developed over 30 years and stems from the active birth movement of the 1970’s.
